Lies, Damn Lies and Data - Measuring Our Progress
Does
your school collect lots of data on students? Does your school have
processes for analysing this data? Does your school use its data to
guide directions
in supporting wellbeing? How do you know whether what you’ve been
doing is working or whether you’ve just been very busy??
School data
can be used effectively to plan and implement mental health and
wellbeing
promotion and early intervention strategies. The importance, role and
use of data are examined in this focus module. Targeted data collection;
communicating and sharing its use; and the analysis and reporting of
results for school improvement are addressed
in this Focus Module.
If your school is interested in being recognised as a MindMatters school then the data you present is key to this process.
Date and Time:
25 June 2013 / 8.45am to 3.30pm
Location: Meerilinga, 15 Cambridge Street, West Leederville WA 6007
