Healthy Schools Day is on the Wednesday 25 May 2011.

This is an opportunity to promote what schools are ALREADY doing to improve the health of students and the whole school community.

Is there something "healthy" happening in a school you know of?

Why not tell us about what your school is doing to promote school health! We'd love to share it on our website!
 
Also,we encourage you to seek local media and other promotionalopportunities to raise the profile of the school and the positiveactivities that it is doing within the community. We encourage you tomake the day as exciting and interactive as possible, encouragingstudents to actively participate by displaying, demonstrating or andpresenting elements of the program.

To support you in the promotion of the health promotion program(s) that you implement, the WAHPSA has provided you with a media release template.

Youmay also wish to contact the coordinator of the program that you areimplementing (for example the contact person within the School DrugEducation and Road Aware program) for further support and ideas abouthow to promote your school as part of Healthy Schools Day.
