Welcome to the WA Health Promoting Schools Association website.
The
WA Health Promoting Schools Association (WAHPSA) advocates and supports
a whole school and community approach to health and wellbeing. The
Association achieves this through education, coordination and
collaboration with school communities and health agencies.
Formerly
known as the School Health Coalition, WAHPSA was established in 1989
and is currently comprised of over 40 health and school organisations.
Membership consists of fully paid members and invited guests and is
inclusive of the health and education sectors and other related sectors
with the common goal of improving the health of young people through
school based health promotion activities.
